This year, the Foundation for the Development of Civil Society (FDSC) organises its first national Fair of the Non-Governmental Organisations: ONG Fest - Bucharest, from 11 to 13 September. The Association for Gender Freedom and Equality - A.L.E.G. from Sibiu has already signed up to participate together with other 100 NGOs from the country. For us, this is a chance to promote our organisation, to educate the public on gender equality but also to make new contacts with other organisations, sponsors and the mass-media.
We will be waiting for you at the A.L.E.G. stand in the old centre of Bucharest!
A.L.E.G. will welcome you with all kind of treats: tasting sweet and looking colourful. Passers-by will be able to see images of our organisation's activity, to look at our annual reports and portfolio of projects. You will have the possibility to make donations for the activities you consider important and as a reward you will receive custom-made materials designed by our volunteers. If you like things spicy, we have some hot questions for you; you may tell us what you think about women, men, couple violence and equality.
Next to the festival stage we will organise the Contest "It takes two to make a relationship equal". The competition is addressed to boy and girl teams of two. Each day, the team with the best answers will win one of the following awards:
The big prize: a weekend for 2 at Sibiu 2nd prize: a package of beauty services at a saloon in Bucharest. Other awards: educational and promotional materials.
