The GRUNDTVIG 2008 Project „Learning Kitchen”

Starting from October 2008, A.L.E.G. is testing Europe: we are partners in a GRUNDTVIG project - a program financed from European funds for Adult Education and other Educational Routes. The Project will carry on until 2010 and it involves organisations from 5 countries: Austria, Germany, Italy, The Czech Republic and Romania; its purpose ir to give women over 40 the chance to get involved in cultural exchanges in the field of gastronomy but also to acquire new abilities, like for instance computer skills. The 6 beneficiaries from Romania will have the opportunity to take part in 2 gastronomy workshops in Germany and Austria and they will learn to document the results of these events electronically in order to put them at the public's disposal on the project web page.

Project „EU-Strategy for Gender Budgeting”

The project is part of the EU Program "Europe for Citizens" and it is lead by the Network of Women and Girls Counselling Services in Austria. A.L.E.G. participates as a project partner; its role is to develop studies on the Influence of EU gender equality policies in the financial field on the Romanian legislation and the Financial Situation of women and women organisations in Romania and on the changes occurred after accession. These studies will be presented at the international conference from June 2009.
