GIRLS' CLUB PDF Print E-mail

From 2007, A.L.E.G. launched a new education program for young girls coming from the rural environment and attenting a school in Sibiu; our aim is to help with their transition towards an independent life. The project objective is to offer a group of 15 girls from the Dormitory of the FoodTechnology High School a weekly activity to support their personal development while providing them with a chance to benefit from individual counselling.

Topics discussed:

  • abusive relations vs. healthy relations
  • prevention of sexual aggressions and self-defense
  • prevention of domestic violence,
  • reproductive health,
  • assertive communication,
  • career development
  • sexuality and gender identity,
  • human rights.

Our club sessions will use interactive methods: games, debates, readings, movies, nature outings etc.
