General objectives:

  • To assimilate the concept of healthy relation as compared to abusive relation
  • To know the types of abuse - how they look like and which are their long-term consequences
  • To make their couple relations better
  • To prevent couple violence


Operational objectives: all participants:

  • O1 - To get basic notions about couple relations
  • O2 - To identify the characteristics of a controlling partner and of an equal partner
  • O3 - To be able to perform the self-assessment of their couple relations
  • O4 - To identify the "ingredients" of a healthy/positive relations
  • O5 - To find positive ways to deal with a problem
  • O6 - To identify the different types of abuse
  • O7 - To get familiar with the notions of harassment and sexual harassment
  • O8 - To get knowledge about safety measures
  • O9 - To synthesize the knowledge acquired following this session

Summer school

Methods: conversation, presentation, explanation, case study, role play, brainstorming

Materials: case studies, movies, power-point presentation

Duration: 4 hours
