From 2007, A.L.E.G. launched a new education program for young girls coming from the rural environment and attenting a school in Sibiu; our aim is to help with their transition towards an independent life. The project objective is to offer a group of 15 girls from the Dormitory of the FoodTechnology High School a weekly activity to support their personal development while providing them with a chance to benefit from individual counselling.
Topics discussed:
- abusive relations vs. healthy relations
- prevention of sexual aggressions and self-defense
- prevention of domestic violence,
- reproductive health,
- assertive communication,
- career development
- sexuality and gender identity,
- human rights.
Our club sessions will use interactive methods: games, debates, readings, movies, nature outings etc.
